Question Discussion & Solution

The positions of the letters according to the English alphabet series:

The pattern for this code is as follows;

Similarly;

Hence, "HFIZG" is the correct answer.

Shortcut Trick

Shortcut to remember the reverse positional letters.

The logic followed is:

The phenomenon of global warming is a serious problem (cause) and the rise in the sea level is a major effect of the same.

So, II is the main cause and I is the main effect.

Hence, the correct answer is "Option 3".

Additional Information

What are Causes?

Causes are the conditions under which an event occurs.

For example, can you guess the causes for the following?

The police increased security around the President's house.

Lots of people buy a particularly expensive brand of washing machines around Diwali. Easily, we can guess the causes for the above events.

There were reports of threats against the President.

There was a high discount or sale for that brand during Diwali.

Sufficient & Necessary Conditions:

In a cause and effect question, the cause is the sufficient condition. It is assumed that the sufficient condition of the occurrence of the events must include the different necessary conditions as well.

A necessary condition is one that must be satisfied for the occurrence of an event.

E.g. You must adhere to the deadline to get your work appraised.

This means if you get your work appraised, you have to adhere to the deadline. Or; if you do not adhere to the deadline, you do not get your work appraised.

A condition is called a sufficient condition if in a certain event, you are satisfied with the results.

E.g. Being human is a sufficient condition for being a mammal. The act of being a human is not possible unless one is also a mammal. But it is not necessary that being human is a necessary condition for being a mammal.

A keyboard is for putting information including letters, words, and numbers into the computer. A keyboard's primary function is to act as an input device. Using a keyboard, a person can type a document, use keystroke shortcuts, access menus, play games and perform a variety of other tasks.

Key Points

• A modifier key is a key on a computer's keyboard that's only used in conjunction with another key.
• Modifier keys are often used with other keys to perform computer keyboard shortcuts and other commands.
• For example, in many text editor programs pressing the Ctrl+A selects all text.

Additional Information

• The function keys or F keys are lined across the top of the keyboard and labeled F1 through F12. These keys act as shortcuts, performing certain functions, like saving files, printing data, or refreshing a page.
  • For example, the F1 key is often used as the default help key in many programs. The F5 key is used in an Internet browser to refresh or reload a web page. The function of these keys can differ by the operating system and by a software program.
• A special key or media key, or multimedia key is a keyboard key that performs a special function not included with the traditional 104-key keyboard.
  • For example, the picture shows a Logitech keyboard.
• An ergonomic keyboard is a keyboard designed for comfort, ease of use, and reduced strain on the user.
  • Such keyboards may include features like concave or tapered keys, keys that are well-spaced, or keys that separate and angle out from a central pivot point.

Therefore, based on the above information The keys of a keyboard, which are used to modify the input of other keys, are called modifier keys.

The correct answer is Copper.

Key Points

• Conductor of electricity
  • In physics and electrical engineering, a conductor is an object or type of material that allows the flow of charge in one or more directions.
  • Materials made of metal are common electrical conductors.
  • Copper is considered to be a conductor because it conducts the electron current or flow of electrons fairly easily. Most metals are considered to be good conductors of electrical current. Copper is just one of the more popular materials that are used for conductors. Hence, Option 4 is correct.
  • If you have to define the meaning of electrical conductors in the simplest way, they are materials that allow electricity to flow through them easily.
  • If we compare two types of material and the first one allows better flow of electricity through it, then that material is said to be a good conductor of electricity.
  • An electrical conductor allows the electric charges to easily flow through them. The property of conductors to conduct electricity is called conductivity.
  • Such materials offer less opposition or resistance to the flow of charges.
  • Conducting materials allow easy charge transfer because of the free movement of electrons through them.

Additional Information

• • Some examples of conductors of electricity are
    • Copper
    • Aluminum
    • Silver
    • Gold
    • Graphite
    • Platinum
    • Water
    • People

Given series: 2, 5, 10, 17, 26, 37, 50, 65, 82, _________

The logic is:

2 + 3 = 5

5 + 5 = 10

10 + 7 = 17

17 + 9 = 26

26 + 11 = 37

37 + 13 = 50

50 + 15 = 65

65 + 17 = 82

82 + 19 = 101
