Question Discussion & Solution

Stack

• It is a Last In First Out (LIFO) data structure
• Piles is another name used for stack since data element are placed one above the other and last element on the pile is the first one to be removed (LIFO)

• Push-down list: A list in which the next item to be removed is the item most recently stored (LIFO); Stack is a LIFO data structure
• The stack is used in situations where data have to be stored and then retrieved in reverse order.
• Real-life implementation of the stack is shown:

The ball which is stored last (D) will be the first one to be taken out of the container

Important Points

• Stacks data structures are also called FILO (first in last out)
• push(), pop(), peek() are some of the functions of stack data structure

The correct answer is In 1994.

• In 1994, the state road policy was announced in Rajasthan.

Key Points

• State road policy, Rajasthan:
  • Rajasthan was the first state in the country to announce a State Road Policy in 1994.
  • The policy formulated the road map to connects places of religious and tourism importance and railway stations.
  • Organizations working in Rajasthan for the development of roads are Rajasthan State Road Development & Construction Corporation Limited, National Highway Authority of India, and Rajasthan State Road Development Corporation.
  • Pratap Singh Khachariyawas is the Transport Minister in the Government of Rajasthan.

Additional Information

• Nitin Gadkari is the Minister for Road Transport & Highways in the Union Government.
  • He is also the Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

CONCEPT:

Logic Gates:

• The logic gates are used in electronic circuits that give a certain output for a given set of Inputs.
• and which is based on a certain logic.
• Input and output are in binary form that is 1 and 0.
• It is based on certain Logic.
• Some basic logic gates are AND gate, OR gate, NOT gate.
• To build digital logic we develop a combination of these gates.

AND Gate

•  If both the inputs are high, it produces a high output.
• The Boolean algebra for AND gate is X = A. B
• It means that if any of the input of A and B is zero, the output will be zero.
• If both are one, the output will be one.

The correct option is AND Gate.

Additional Information

NOT gate:

• It inverts the input. Whatever the input is given, it changes its value at the output.
• The Boolean algebra for NOT gate is X = X̅

Concept:

Polymorphism is a feature of OOPs that allows the object to behave differently in different conditions.

Explanation:

In C++ we have two types of polymorphism:
1. Compile-time Polymorphism – This is also known as static (or early) binding.
2. Runtime Polymorphism – This is also known as dynamic (or late) binding.

Compile-time Polymorphism
Function overloading and Operator overloading are examples of Compile time polymorphism.
