Question Discussion & Solution

The pattern followed here is:

Similarly,

Hence, AHPSXMZD is the correct answer.

There are three basic units of a computer system:

1. Input Unit: Keyboard, Mouse, Scanner, Light pen, Trackball etc.
2. Central Processing Unit
3. Output Unit: Monitor and Printer

Central Processing Unit (CPU): It is the most important unit, where all the processing jobs take place. CPU is the control centre of the computer and hence it is said to be the brain of the computer. CPU has three main components:

1. Arithmetic Logic Unit (ALU): It performs all the arithmetic operations like addition (+), multiplication (*), subtraction (-), division (/) on the numerical data directed by the control unit. All the logical operations, like less than (<), greater than (>), equal to (=), not equal to (≠) etc. are also carried out by ALU.
2. Control Unit (CU): It controls and coordinates all the operations taking place in the system. It controls the flow of data and information from one unit to the other.
3. Registers/Memory Unit (MU): To execute a program, data and instructions need to be stored temporarily. This storage is done in the MU. The data and instructions are retrieved from MU by Control Unit for supplying to ALU as when required by the program.
4. Internal bus: To transfer the data

Explanation:

BOSS (BHARAT OPERATING SYSTEM SOLUTIONS)

• National Resource Centre for Free/Open Source Software (NRCFOSS) of India developed a free and Open Source operating system called Bharat Operating System Solutions (BOSS).
• The latest variant of BOSS called GNU/Linux or simply BOSS Linux Version 5.0 is developed by C-DAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing).
• Linux Foundation has certified BOSS GNU/Linux for compliance with the Linux Standard Base standard.
• EduBOSS, another variant of BOSS GNU Did you know Linux, has educational applications for school students.
• The latest PC version learning packages that contain education of BOSS GNU/Linux is games, paint and graphic tools, typing tutor, available in eighteen and many other such tools.
• It also contains Indian languages. teaching tools for subjects like Math, Science, Social Studies among others.
• Another main component is the e-learning editor that enables teachers to develop and publish web-based learning and teaching materials and design online quizzes, tests, and self-evaluation procedures.

Important Points

•  The latest PC version of BOSS GNU/Linux is available in 18 Indian languages.

Ammeter is an instrument used to measure Current.

Similarly, Hygrometer is an instrument used to measure Humidity

Soil is one of the most important natural resources as mankind is dependent on soil for food. The soils of Rajasthan have developed under the arid and humid climate over the bedrocks of complex nature predominately through the process of Lateralization.

Classification: The old system of classification was developed by scientists (Thorpe & Smith) of the U.S Department of Agriculture in 1949. The classification is based upon differences in climate and mineralogy. As per this system, soils of Rajasthan can be classified into 8 types:

1. Desert Soils
2. Dunes and Associated Soils
3. Brown Soils
4. Sierozems
5. Red Loams
6. Hill Soils (Lithosols)
7. Saline Sodic Soils (Solonchaks)
8. Alluvial Soils/and Black Soils

Brown soil:

• Brown Soils Major area of these soils is in the catchment area of Banas River.
• Districts – Tonk, Bundi, Sawai Madhopur, Bhilwara, Udaipur, and Chittorgarh
• Annual Rainfall – 50 cm to 75 cm is sufficient for Kharif crops.
• Texture – Sandy loam to clay loam.
• Colour – Ranges from greyish brown to yellow-brown.
• They are rich in calcium salts but have poor organic matter
• The use of fertilizers becomes essential to get a good harvest
• As the groundwaters are saline, soils irrigate with these waters have accumulated salts
• Tank irrigated soils have also developed a problem of the high water table.
• Rabi crops are grown under irrigation.

Hence, option 1 is the correct answer.
