Question Discussion & Solution

The correct answer is In 1960.

• In 1960, the 'State Assessment Organization' was established in Rajasthan.

Key Points

• The State Evaluation Organisation was set up in the State on 1^st April 1960.
• It was set up with the objective of undertaking evaluation of Panchayati Raj and Community Development Programme, and further assigned the task of making an evaluation of development schemes/ projects initiated under different Five Year Plans.
• Presently it is working as an integral part of the State Planning Machinery and conduct the evaluation studies on various subjects, schemes, projects and programmers as required by the State Government as well as by the Central Government.

CONCEPT:

• It is the property of liquid by virtue of which the free surface of the liquid at rest acting like a stretched membrane trying to contract to reduce its surface area.
• Surface tension is a force per unit length (or surface energy per unit area) acting in the plane of interface between the liquid and the bounding surface.
• It is the extra energy that the molecules at the interface have as compared to the interior.
• The surface tension is the force acting perpendicular on a unit length of an imaginary line drawn on the surface of the liquid and it can be expressed as

\(\Rightarrow T = \frac{F}{l}\)

• Because of this surface tension, few insects can easily float on liquid surface similarly a needle can be made to float on the surface of liquid using this principle

Here,

T = surface tension,

F = force acting on the surface (Cohesive force)

l = unit length

EXPLANATION:

• As explained above, the surface tension acting on a fluid surface can be expressed as

Surface tension, \(T = \frac{{{\rm{The\;cohesive\;force\;between\;molecule}}}}{{unit\;length}}\)

• Also, we know that cohesive force or the attractive force between the liquid molecules is inversely proportional to its temperature.
• Since as we increase the temperature of fluid its interatomic distance will keep on increasing hence it will cause a decrease in the surface tension of the fluid.

i.e., \(surface\;tension,\;T \propto \frac{1}{{temperature}}\)

So, only option 3^rd is correct.

The study of the human mind is called Psychology.

Similarly,

the study of insects is called Entomology.

Hence, the correct answer is "Entomology".

Inheritance

The capability of a class to derive properties from another class is called Inheritance

• The class that inherits properties from another class is called Subclass or Derived Class.
• The class whose properties are inherited by a subclass is called Base Class or Superclass.

Syntax for Inheritance

class derived_name : access_mode base_class

{

//body of derived class

};

Additional Information

Polymorphism

Polymorphism is mainly divided into two types:

• Compile-time Polymorphism
• Runtime Polymorphism

Compile-time polymorphism

This is achieved by function overloading or operator overloading.

• Function Overloading - When there are multiple functions with the same name but different parameters then these functions are said to be overloaded
• Operator overloading - When there are multiple operations can be performed by using single operator is called operator overloading for example operator ‘+’ when placed between integer operands, adds them and when placed between string operands, concatenates them

Run Time Polymorphism

It is achieved by Function Overriding.

Conclusion

Feature of Reusability is followed by inheritance so the correct answer is the inheritance.
