Question Discussion & Solution

Concept:

System modelling is the process of developing abstract models of a system and each model presenting a different view or perspective of that system.

Explanation:

Concept that has to be considered while modelling a new system are:

Abstraction: at highest level of abstraction, a solution is stated in broad terms while at the lowest level of abstraction a more detailed solution is provided.

Modularity: it is the single attribute of the software that allows a program to be individually manageable.

Information hiding in this algorithms and data contained within a module are inaccessible to to other modules.

Some other factors that are considered are: architecture, pattern, functional independence, refinement, refinement.

Key Points

• Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005:
  • Domestic Violence means:
    • “Physical abuse" includes hurt of any kind. Assault, criminal intimidation and criminal force. Hence statement 1 is correct.
    • “Sexual abuse" such as the conduct of a sexual nature such as forced sexual intercourse, forcing the aggrieved person to watch pornography or other obscene material
    • “Verbal and emotional abuse" such as Accusation/aspersion on character or conduct. An insult for not bringing dowry, Insult for not having a male child. Hence statement 2 is Correct.
    • "Economic abuse" such as not providing money for maintaining a woman or her children. Not providing food, clothes, medicine. etc, Forcing woman out of the house. Hence statement 4 is Correct.
  • Non-sharing of household work, noncaring attitude for children, unhealthy habits of living. late coming etc. (of the male partner) is not directly covered under this act. Hence Statement 3 is Incorrect.

The correct answer is Distance.

Key Points

• An odometer is a device that is used for measuring the distance traveled by a vehicle.
• The odometer is usually situated in the vehicle's dashboard.
• The word "odometer" is derived from two Greek words meaning path and measure.
• Odometer is also used by people who construct roads and survey lands.

Additional Information

Encapsulation

• It is the process or method to contain the information.
• Wrapping of data and function into a single unit is called data encapsulation
• Encapsulation is a method to hide the data in a single entity or unit along with a method to protect information from outside.
• It can be implemented using by access modifier.

Important Point:

• Data Abstraction is the method of hiding unwanted information.
• Polymorphism is a feature of OOPs that allows the object to behave differently in different conditions.
• The objects that help to perform abstraction are encapsulated but the objects that result in encapsulation need not be abstracted.
